Agawam City Council approves three utility fund stabilization transfers.

Agawam City Council approves utility stabilization transfers in unanimous votes. Council President Anthony Russo and all 11 councilors present voted 11-0 to approve three resolutions transferring certified retained earnings to Water, Wastewater, and Municipal Golf stabilization funds, each recommended by Finance Committee Chair Dino Mercadante. The council also unanimously approved a fourth resolution transferring Municipal Golf Stabilization Fund monies to the Capital Stabilization Fund to retire golf cart debt 22 months ahead of schedule.

Councilor Rossi highlighted that the municipal golf operation remains financially healthy.
