Agawam High School Building Committee unanimously approves April invoices and contract amendment. The committee voted to authorize LeftField Contract Amendment #6 and approved invoices totaling $3,949,543.73 from LeftField, Flansburgh Architects, Fontaine Bros, and Allied Testing. Mayor Chris Johnson chaired the meeting, with nine of 12 voting members present.
The overall project budget is now 93 percent committed with 22 percent spent; the construction budget is 100 percent committed following finalization of the guaranteed maximum price. Exterior framing and brick façade work are advancing on the Community Wing, with drywall installation scheduled to begin next month.
