Agawam sports roundup, Aug. 10 to Aug. 16

AGAWAM -- The Agawam Soccer Association's website this week carried new operational detail for the club's record fall travel season rather than a new headline announcement.

YOUTH LEAGUES -- The Agawam Soccer Association has posted a Boys Varsity and Girls Varsity home-game schedule for its travel teams, with dates for Ball Boy and Ball Girl assignments running from September 14 through October 16. The club also launched a coach-education initiative, sharing training schedules for its U9 Boys team (coached by Heinze), U13 Boys (Hanscom) and U13 Girls (Regnier), and inviting other coaches "seeking mentorship or fresh training ideas" to observe those sessions by contacting the respective lead coach. Separately, the association's posted coaching roster for the 2026-2027 travel season lists several boys' and girls' age-group coaching positions as OPEN, and the club says it is looking for volunteers to fill an InTown Soccer Coordinator, an InTown Soccer Registrar, and a Marketing and Communications role, with inquiries directed to Brian Regnier.

No Agawam High School games were listed for the period, according to ArbiterLive.
