City Council confirms two appointments to boards

Agawam City Council unanimously confirmed two appointees to town commissions. Mario Tedeschi was confirmed to the Agawam Golf Commission for a term expiring December 31, 2029, and Marilyn Lake was reappointed to the Whiting Street & Thomas Pyne Fund Commission for a term ending December 31, 2028. Four resolutions appropriating certified retained earnings from water, wastewater, and golf fund accounts to stabilization accounts were referred to the Finance Committee.
A zone-change petition for three parcels on Mill Street in Feeding Hills, filed by Sergey Dikan, Mikhail Ashlaban, and Tamara Ashlaban, was referred to the Planning Board with a public hearing scheduled for March 16, 2026.
