Conservation Commission approves HP Hood building addition with conditions.

AGAWAM — Conservation Commission unanimously approves HP Hood building addition. The board voted 6-0 to approve a 7,900-square-foot building addition at 233 Main Street and 6-0 to issue the Order of Conditions, after all engineering comments and fire department review were addressed. The project lies within the 100-foot buffer zone of an intermittent stream and will tie into an upgraded stormwater system.

Chair Henry Kozloski's commission also voted 6-0 to require a peer review for a 19.20-acre property at 130 South Westfield Street containing three wetlands, and issued a Negative Determination for a detached garage at 15 Two-If-By Street.
