Conservation Commission approves peer review for Tirone wetland delineation.

AGAWAM — Conservation Commission approves $2,860 peer review contract and continues three hearings. The board, chaired by Henry Kozloski, unanimously ratified the Stockman Associates proposal to verify wetland boundaries at 130 South Westfield Street and advanced the determination hearing to June 25. Two additional matters--a Notice of Intent for invasive-species removal at 365 Main Street by Joseph O'Malley and an Abbreviated Notice of Resource Area Delineation at 311 Shoemaker Lane for Ameresco, Inc. were also continued.
The commission ratified an Emergency Order for tree removal at 15 Silver Lake Drive and heard a conservation-project proposal from Eagle Scout Andrew Boucher to clear and improve Pynchon Point.
