Conservation Commission closes hearing, schedules Order of Conditions

Conservation Commission · Meeting of April 9, 2026

Agawam Conservation Commission closes public hearing on Silver Street wetlands project. The commission voted unanimously to close the Notice of Intent hearing for 699 Silver Street (MSR Properties, LLC) after receiving Engineering Department approval and to draft an Order of Conditions at its April 23 meeting. The board also unanimously continued a Request for Determination on an adjacent Agawam Energy Center property and an Abbreviated Notice of Resource Area Delineation for an Ameresco site, both to April 23.

Two complaints were referred: erosion at 64 Thalia Drive will be elevated to the State as it affects state property; tree cutting and landscaping at 242 River Road was forwarded to Natural Heritage due to endangered species habitat concerns.
