Conservation Commission requires peer review for Shoemaker Lane wetland delineation

Conservation Commission · Meeting of March 12, 2026

AGAWAM — Conservation Commission requires peer review before proceeding with wetland delineation at 311 Shoemaker Lane. Chair Henry Kozloski stated the state Department of Environmental Protection recommended a peer review, noting an Abbreviated Notice of Resource Area Delineation was submitted for the property in 2021, reviewed, and withdrawn. David Cameron of Fleetwood Environmental Solutions presented field work identifying Bordering Vegetated Wetlands and a stream with a 100-foot buffer zone.

The Commission unanimously continued the hearing to March 26, 2026, and also continued a separate Request for Determination for 769 Silver Street to the same date.
