AGAWAM — Planning Board approves energy storage site plan pending regulatory clearance. Vice Chair Frank DeStefano and members Charles Elfman and Michael DiLullo unanimously approved a site plan for Agawam Energy Center LLC at 769 Silver Street, contingent on Conservation Commission and state natural heritage approvals and compliance with city battery storage regulations. The board also unanimously released an $11,000 bond for the Samuel Street Subdivision and deferred two other items, a Calabrese Construction LLC definitive plan public hearing and an MSR Properties LLC site plan, to the April 2 meeting.
