Planning Board · Meeting of March 5, 2026

Agawam Planning Board continued review of two major projects to March 19. Vice Chair Frank DeStefano presided over a public hearing on Calabrese Construction's five-lot definitive plan on Old River Street, which drew Fire Department approval and four requested waivers; the board voted unanimously to continue the application. Agawam Energy Center's site plan at 769 Silver Street also was continued unanimously after revisions to stormwater management and erosion controls.

The board voted 4–0 to recommend a zone change for Dikan and Ashlaban at 515 and 533 Mill Street from Business B and Agricultural to Residence A-2, enabling up to 12 single-family dwellings.
