AGAWAM — Planning Board unanimously recommends Charlies Garden Park zone change on Suffield Street parcels. The proposal, presented by Filipe Cravo and Clark Dore, would convert Business A, Agricultural, and Residence A-2 zoning to Business A with a Mixed Use Business C overlay, enabling approximately 30 residential units and a second retail space while maintaining existing twin silos and commercial building on-site. Duplex-style condos are priced around $400,000; an undisturbed vegetated buffer will separate the project from neighboring Deer Run residences.
The Board also conditionally approved an amended site plan for 223 Garden Street pending Fire Department clearance.
