AGAWAM -- No Agawam High School games were reported for the week of July 6-12, according to ArbiterLive, and no town recreation or community sports updates were available from local sources during the period.

YOUTH LEAGUES -- Agawam Soccer Association says it is fielding a record 26 teams in the Roots Soccer League for the 2026–2027 travel season. The organization's coaching staff and committee are finalizing roster assignments and are looking to fill several open coaching positions across multiple boys' and girls' age groups, from 8U through 14U. Anyone interested in coaching can complete a volunteer registration form; questions can be directed to Jason Hanscom (jasonhanscom1@gmail.com) or Chris Chechile (chris_chechile@yahoo.com).

The association has also opened registration for Fall 2026 InTown Soccer, open to all ages from 3 years old through 8th grade. The season is set to start the weekend of September 12-13, and registration closes August 28; players who register after that date will be waitlisted and a late fee will apply.

Separately, Agawam Soccer says it is seeking volunteers for three open roles: InTown Soccer Coordinator, InTown Soccer Registrar, and Marketing and Communications. Those interested can contact Brian Regnier at bregnier@comcast.net.
