Agawam Soccer Association is fielding a record 26 travel teams for the 2026-2027 season and has opened registration for Fall InTown Soccer.

AGAWAM -- Agawam's youth soccer program highlighted the week with season-planning news, while no Agawam High School contests were listed on ArbiterLive for the period.

YOUTH LEAGUES -- The Agawam Soccer Association announced it is "proud to announce that we are fielding a record 26 teams in the Roots Soccer League for the upcoming 2026-2027 season." The organization's coaching staff and committee are finalizing roster assignments and are seeking volunteers to fill several open coaching positions across multiple age groups, including openings on the 8U, 9U, 10U, 11U and 12U boys' and girls' travel rosters. Anyone interested in coaching is asked to complete the volunteer registration form; questions can be directed to Jason Hanscom at jasonhanscom1@gmail.com or Chris Chechile at chris_chechile@yahoo.com.

Separately, registration is open for Fall 2026 InTown Soccer, serving players from age 3 through eighth grade. The season is set to begin the weekend of September 12-13, according to the association. Registration closes August 28; players who sign up after that date will be wait-listed and charged a late fee.
